When asked how she felt about winning the crown, she said, "Ask me after I've had a pizza."

Rima Fakih nearly fell while finishing her walk in a long, strapless gown because of the length of its train, but she made it without a spill and went on to win.

During the interview portion, Rima was asked whether she thought birth control should be paid for by health insurance, and she said she believed it should because it's costly."I believe that birth control is just like every other medication even though it's a controlled substance," Fakih said.

Rima Fakih will have a spot representing the United States in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant. She also gets a one-year lease in a New York apartment with living expenses, an undisclosed salary, and various health, professional and beauty services.

David Beckham's left Achilles' tendon was totally torn, and the doctor who performed the surgery said the England midfielder is expected to be out of action for about six months.

Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Sakari Orava said that Beckham is expected to be out of action for about six months.

Orava told The Associated Press that Beckham was in "some pain" after Monday's surgery but was doing well and would start walking with his crutches on Tuesday.

"These walking exercises are the first day's program after surgery," Orava said.
"After that he will get a detailed program for further rehabilitation, and then,
(Wednesday) probably,Beckham flies to London, and then to the U.S."

Beckham's spokesman, Simon Oliveira, said the tendon was completely repaired, and he expected the 34-year-old midfielder to play again.

"David is expected to make a full recovery," Oliveira said.

He also told the AP that Beckham's wife, Victoria Beckham, was expected later Tuesday in Turku.

"Of course she is coming," Oliveira said. "She is his wife and wants to be
there."

The former England captain was injured in the closing minutes of AC Milan's 1-0 win over Chievo Verona on Sunday. He was on his second loan to the Italian club from Major League Soccer's Lox Angeles Galaxy.

Orava said Beckham planned to spend the night at the clinic and likely will leave
Finland on Tuesday.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown sent a get-well message to Beckham and praised his role as an ambassador for his sport.

Using crutches, Beckham hobbled out of a private jet at Turku airport in southwestern Finland and left in a Mercedes. Just minutes later, he arrived at the clinic surrounded by security guards amid cheers from hundreds of fans who had gathered outside the entrance.

The primary cause of death was community-acquired pneumonia, with contributing factors of iron deficiency anemia and multiple drug intoxication.
Brittany Murphy died Dec. 20 at age 32 after collapsing at her Hollywood Hills home.

Padma Lakshmi has started foundation to raise awareness about endometriosis – a condition affecting women's reproductive health – after her own experience of having a successful operation and making a full recovery.

"I'm somebody who never knew I had this condition and always thought that everything was okay," says Lakshmi. "I found out in a very hard, difficult way – and I had to be operated on. Now, I'm fine but it was a very trying ordeal."

A common condition, endometriosis is a problem that occurs when tissues that line the uterus grow outside the uterus, resulting in painful menstrual cycles and uterine scarring that could lead to infertility. With surgery, endometriosis can be treated easily – but it must be detected first.
